Greenwood Cemetery is one of the most beautiful and dignified cemeteries in New Jersey. With a varied terrain that has been attractively landscaped and carefully planned, the location and natural surroundings have allowed Greenwood Cemetery to be not only a place of interment, but also a setting of peace and tranquility for visiting loved ones to enjoy. The cemetery sits atop a hill with commanding views of Brielle, NJ, a lovely community by the sea. It was established in 1899, with the intent of providing a “park-like setting together with moments of inspiration.”
